Tartu Jaani (St John's) Church is a unique sanctum from the 14th century. Its terracotta sculptures, almost 1000 of which have survived until today, are particularly valuable in terms of art history as their size, quantity and artistic quality mean they are without equal in Europe.
Open: Mon-Sat 10.00-18.00
From September to May we're open Tue-Sat 10-18.
In June, July and August we're open Mon-Sat 10-19.
